Baby Exercises

David is learning new tricks every day, and as first parents always do we oo and ahh over every little thing. latest tricks include sticking out his tongue, blowing bubbles, and sitting up.

Baby coos and smiles

Hopefully this video works. It's some pretty cute baby footage. After every baby snack we make sure that David gets a few words out. He is talking and smiling so much now. I have even gotten a few ticklish smiles out of him! David also likes to stand up. Of course he wiggles and flops all over the place, but he is really quite strong.

Hiking the Y

We went on a little hike the other day... up to the Y! It really took a lot out of me, but it was really fun. Little David is quiet the outdoors-man. Every time we take him out in the sun, he sprawls out and basks in the warmth.

And then there were three...

David Miles Saumweber was born July 28th at 9:15 am. He weight 8lbs 6oz, and was 21 inches long.

BIG DOG... little dog

We were hoping that Zeus would get along well with our friends little Maltese/poodle, Cosmo. So, Eli and Ashley brought over Cosmo to test things out. They were great and very funny to watch. Cosmo was so hyper and would run circles around Zeus, but as soon as Zeus took a couple big steps he would have him.

Thursday morning Joe and I were looking at dogs online and Joe found this great dane he wanted to check out at the Human Society in Salt Lake. No harm in that Right... well we came home with three year old Zeus that night. He is a 80 lb great dane and a great dog! We when back on Saturday and finished the adoption papers. Zeus loves sleeping, lounging, napping, cuddling, running with Joe, walks with me, and going to the park to play with his ball. He doesn't like cats, he loves people, and is learning to play nice with other dogs.

The Latest pictures of baby David. These were taken on June 2nd. David was so active that day. He was kicking at the ultrasound wand, and in this shot he was opening and closing his little hand that's right by his face. The nurse asked me if he as always this active and I said yup, and more!
