Little Monkey

David has discovered that if I leave the rail down, he can climb into his bed. He loves hanging out in there lately. Luckily he can't climb out yet, he seems pretty aware of his limitations.

So its had to tell but it is snowing in this picture of David. He thought that was really cool. This little man rairly goes without his passy... he's an addict! Here's a little David babble for those who haven't heard and for those who can't get enough.
Dad was not here when this event took place... if he was I am sure there would have been no evidence that this actually happened. I couldn't resist, he had tons of fun tromping around.

Just one more...

David loved a lot of things at Grandma's house... 1. all the room to run around. He would roam upstairs and down stairs and everywhere in between. 2. the endless supply of cordless phones that were at his reach. 3. last but not least Deb's puppy Sophie! He would chase her then she would chase him... they were a perfect little pair. Deb's even taught David to say puppy!

I had a great time out there. it is really fun to see David with Grandma Lisa, which makes us even more excited for the holidays! He'll be so big by the time Grandpa Les, Grandma Jan, and Uncle Adam see him with all kinds of new tricks. We can't wait for the family time! While I was in Colorado I was able to do a bunch of Mary Kay facials thanks to my fam and my mom's girl friends. It was really fun, and actually it helped to make October my biggest/most successful Mary Kay month yet so thanks to all. Well, even though David and I had a great time we were very happy to get home to our Daddy Joe!

Happy Halloween!

Sorry that I am so late. David and I flew back from Denver on Halloween. I dressed him up as a little scarecrow with a red nose and everything. He got all the attention at the airport! I never did get a great picture of his costume so I will have to get him all decked out again just so I can get some good pictures. Is that crazy of me... oh well maybe someday we can use the pictures at his wedding or something.

The heater saga...

He just can't get enough of the heater. We did this ritual every morning for a week or two. I would go out and turn up the heat a little so it would come on. I will admit that I taught him to get his blanket and cozy up. Then one day I came out and, no kidding, David had dragged his booster seat so that it was in front of the vent. He was just chillin' there happy as a clam. I think that was his best thinking/ problem solving to date, I was so proud. He was just upset that he couldn't get it close enough (it was touching the wall and couldn't get closer).

Been awhile...

I got a little feel for what it would be like to have twins the other day. I was watching Jax for Ashley and ended up have to go to a young womans meeting. I reclined my stroller seat all the way and threw the boys in. They both had fun for the first half of the ride. I will tell you what watching two at home is one thing, but taking two out is a whole new animal. In the second picture both boys are checking out this little dog that was yapping at us. Don't they make the cutest pair.

The New Patio!

Well, After all the talk and much delay we are getting our patio finished! Joe and my brother Jeff worked all day Friday and just about finished. David was a big help, or at least he thought he was! I wish I had pictures of the progress or the men at work, but they did it all while I was at a MK retreat up in Park City. I came home to a new patio, and a tired Daddy.
David really like to use his hands to rest on now and we love it. He is really blabbering a lot these days, unfortunately we rarely know what he is saying but he tries hard.
David loves soda pop! He also loves to lounge in front of the heating vent when it's on. I really need to take some video of that for you because it is really funny how he rolls around, holds out his hands to the hot air and says mmm!

Baby's favorite toy!

So here's the baby Pictures! All of David new favorite things!

So, we found this vacuum at a second hand store and David played with it the whole time we were there. When I took it to check out, he freaked out and threw himself on the floor and was so sad! We gave it back, but he was really upset when he couldn't play with it in the car.

David still loves cars! if you zoom in close you can see all three of his teeth, with a fourth on the way! That top left one(his left) is a killer!
David has developed a new love for stuffed animals and blankets. This is him wrestling Curious George. Take down, you're outa' there!

We have been playing a lot with our buddy Jaxon lately. This video is Jax and David hard at work last night! It's really fun to watch them interact more and sometimes play together! Let's be honost half the time they're poking each others eyes out, but they know where eye's are.

MY Crazy ER Night

Sorry It has been so long since I posted anything. I don't even have any great new video to put up, I will have to work on that. So, as most of you already know I had to have surgery last Friday... it all happened so fast it still doesn't feel real to me. Joe has been great he hurried right home from Snow Mass in CO to take care of me and David. And he has done just that all week. Poor guy I think he's really to hang up the apron and go back to work! David has been a real good sport too, especially in the beginning when we were pawning him off wherever we could. Actually he enjoyed it but was always glad to be home. I think we are all having a good recovery and should be back to normal soon.
PS I think David well start to talk a little more soon. He understands a lot but has never really shown an interest in communicating... just climbing which he's mastered now. A few times now he has tried to mimic works like "all done". I can't wait for Him to make animal sounds! He will do a doggie sometimes.

One year old

Things I have learned in my First year:
1. You can eat pretty much anything...although I wouldn't recommend rolly pollies and i would recommend egg rolls yummy!2. Nap Time isn't so bad...3. You can never have too many passies!
4. Playing in the water is the best!
5. If I pretend to be shy and snuggle people they think I am really cute, and that's good!6. I really like this music stuff... just not sure how to make my own yet!7. I love making new friends and hangin' with my buddies, but I don't always like all the pictures mom tries to take.8. There are two ways to get things... to cry or to give em that look! I haven't decided which one I like better but I'll keep you posted

9. If grandma sends green paper, I get to go to the store and buy new toys! I probably would have had fun eating the money, but mom says the toys will be funner for longer.
10. And last but not least, my parents are crazy, but they love me the most so it's all good!

Our Yard Saga

So, we have been doing a lot of work on the old yard. We took out a lot and put in some more. It is looking really good, I will post pictures when we are finished. This day we were headed to the dump with a bunch of branches and cement pieces. It felt good to get them out of the way... the only bad part is there is still a pile in out backyard! We were going to burn them, but our neighbor didn't like that so we had to stop. Maybe some day we will be done. David was really cute, I put him in his little pool and gave him the hose. He would have played in the water all day long. He's new cutest thing is dancing to the music in the car (or anywhere). He likes me to turn it up while he does his thing! I will try to get that one on video for y'all.

Tiny Dancer

So, I know I just did a post, but these videos are priceless!
We got this little push car for David and it was a hit. if you would notice the massager on the kitchen floor in the background... that was David favorite toy especially when it was on.

This last video is of David chomping on a nectarine. He will sit there and eat it right down to the core. Very messy but very tasty.
We have had a great time here in Denver, and now its time to go home. I have tons of great baby footage for y'all. David is starting to take his first steps!
David Has had fun playing with his uncle Jeff. Jeff would give his bits of ice cream... sure way to win David over.Just like his Daddy. David loves music, he is quite the little dancer.

I went to lunch with a couple of high school buddies (Ashley and Hayley) one day. I hadn't seen them for years. Turns out we all had boys about a month apart!

The Hose

David loves playing out on Grandma Lisa's patio. He especially likes the hose and her shovel. The hose was a little harder to handle with the water on... but more fun!

Little Indian Brave

Well, we are getting ready for another trip. Joe heads to Canada tomorrow and I head over to Denver. We've been trying to clean out our fridge cause we'll be gone for almost 2 weeks, but of course we had friends over for lunch and dinner. Actually our dinner guests fell through so... we have lots of leftovers!
Despite all the craziness, David never ceases to impress us with his new cute tricks. He can now go from a sitting position to standing all on his own... he doesn't know that he can do it, he usually does it when he's not paying attention and really wants something. Hopefully he wont take any first steps while Daddy's away!

Daddy's scratchy face

Joe discovered that rubbing David's hands on his scratchy face drove him crazy. He squirms and giggles and it's lots of fun for all.

David has become a really good sleeper (when he's not sick). He takes two good naps in the day, and will usually sleep from 8:30pm to 8:00am! When he gets up in the morning he will play around in his crib for a while till we go and get him. Heaven! Baby's are always the cutest first thing in the morning... too bad the only people that see them then are mom and dad.

Back together again!

Well, We were finally reunited after being apart for 15 long days... and now we are planning for our next trips which will be in another week! Seems just as soon as we get settled into a routine again it's time for another trip. Not that I am complaining I love being able to travel so much we are very lucky! Business for Joe is moving right along, it's looking like we have another big step in the business road ahead, but if we make it so will Bontri. As for me, well David sure keeps me busy. I do work in my uncles office a couple times a week which is nice for a change. Davids latest trick is probably climbing up and down stairs. This video is a little long but I just couldn't get enough of the cuteness!
